It seems to take longer to recover from these long road trips, but I’m finally feeling myself again. My first impression of the festival, boomerang is the new ball and can. Enough said. Otherwise, young whipper-snappers are attempting impossible 5 club tricks, like we use to try 3 club tricks we couldn’t do 20 years ago. This morning I caught Vova Galchenko warming up. He pulled off a 5 club double pirouette (720) into singles perfectly, and later I saw some good work with 6 club singles. The contrast from running 6 club triples into singles in a sight to see. Doug Sayers (spelling?) is turning into a club monster too.
Right now David Cain and Scott Slesnik are passing boomerangs. Its amusing but not video-worthy, sorry guys. For myself its turning out to be a good day for juggling, my 6 rings with a headbounce has felt great from the start. Oh wait, now there’s 3 boomerang passers. That’s “almost” video worthy.
